Ken AshtonDo it yourselfing is becoming less and less practical . The garage trade must ensure trust and no nonsense prices to help reduce incidents like this and near misses .
trevor rossThis just goes to show the dangers people are not aware of when working on vehicles, the number of times I’ve told apprentices of for not having axle stands under the car,they don’t think it will ever happen to them.I went out into the car park once and found one sitting on the floor legs under the car only a jack holding up the car, made him put stands underneath and had him in the office for a telling off and to make sure he understood the life changing implications it can have of not using axles stands.
