Autodata promises another year of innovation
The new Autodata web application features 125,000 diagrams and illustrations, covering over 550,000 procedures.

Autodata was one of the first companies to identify the need for an accurate all-in-one automotive technical information solution for the aftermarket over 42 years ago.

Since then, the company has grown to become a leading provider of automotive technical data worldwide.

As well as a record number of updates to their online workshop application, the company launched several new modules, features, and enhancements last year including ‘quick links’, ‘change brakes’, and several procedure guides.

Autodata went even further last year by revamping the online workshop application and by launching the world’s first online technical data application for motorcycles.

Increase workshop efficiency

This year is set to be even more beneficial for workshops, as Autodata plans to launch new modules and features that will further increase workshop efficiency.

Autodata is to introduce at least one new key feature in the workshop application every month, beginning with a brand new ‘service summary’ module.

The new module makes it even easier to quickly identify when key service operations, such as the recommended intervals for belt replacement; spark plug renewal; fluid replacement; and filter renewal need to be carried out.

It also provides possibilities to ‘up-sell’ additional work based on the manufacturer’s recommendations and is particularly useful to provide quick quotes.

By the end of 2017, Autodata will make more than 30,000 updates to new and existing models, as well as over 300 software enhancements to further improve the features of their products.
