Automechanika exhibitor space sells out ahead of UK debut
The UK event will become the largest Automechanika debut show in history outside of Frankfurt.

Exhibitor space at the inaugural Automechanika Birmingham exhibition, to be staged at the NEC on June 7th – 9th later this year, has already sold out five months prior to launch.

The companies represented at the new UK event are split between the automotive aftermarket and supply chain with the likes of Schaeffler, TRW, Unipart, Yokohama Tyres and Total UK just some of the major household names confirmed to take part.

Event director, Simon Albert said: “We are certainly on track to become the most successful automotive trade show in the UK.

“It is destined to become the key home for both supply chain and aftermarket companies and visitors which no other event has been able to offer.”

The exhibition, originally planned for one hall, will now occupy three halls amounting to 21,000 sqm of space at the venue.

Details of the trade show’s visitor seminar programme are due to be announced shortly.

The exhibition is in association with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) which will provide an added draw to visitors by hosting its own popular flagship events: meet the buyer and open forum at the show.
