Automechanika opens its doors in the UK for the first time
More than 550 exhibitors from 30 countries to show 1,000s of products and services at the NEC in Birmingham.

Thousands of visitors are making their way to Automechanika Birmingham at the NEC this week as the exhibition opens its doors for the very first time in the UK.

The show is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm until Thursday 9 June and GW, an official media partner, will be on stand 11F3.

The event is hosting UK-based companies and international businesses with 38 per cent of the exhibitors representing 30 countries around the globe, including China, Spain and Italy.

The exhibition also features a range of innovative and diverse seminars from experts in their respective fields.

The 50 plus seminars will be presented across three theatres, the Keynote Theatre sponsored by Morris Lubricants, the Aftermarket Theatre sponsored by Aftermarket magazine and the Technical Theatre, with Workshops for the Aftermarket, organised by autotechnician magazine and sponsored by TecRMI.

The exhibition is also providing visitors with additional attractions, such as a ‘New Product Showcase’, ‘Innovation Trail’ and a ‘Workshop of the Future’ feature area to demonstrate the latest developments in the automotive industry and supply chain.

The ‘Workshop of the Future’ includes interactive technology and the latest developments that will represent the future for the independent workshop.

The ‘New Product Showcase’ will give the visitors an opportunity to witness the most recent products from a variety of companies, which will be displayed in the back of the Automechanika Birmingham event guide.

The ‘Innovation Trail’ will link with this and also present these products but with a highlighted path to follow, which will be shown in the form of the Automechanika Birmingham pocket guide floor plan.

For an extended show preview, complete with show highlights, go to the Automechanika special issue of GW Views.
