Three theatres to host more than 60 presentations throughout the three-day-event

Automechanika: UK’s ‘flagship’ show reveals seminar programme
Automechanika Birmingham is set to take place at the NEC on June 7-9, which will host a number of industry experts tackling the key issues within the aftermarket.

The organisers of Automechanika Birmingham have released initial details of its extensive seminar programme.

The Keynote theatre, will focus on important industry developments, topics and issues with presentations from a variety of sources, including the DVSA, UKTI, the IAAF, IMI, Industry Forum, Frost and Sullivan and the Automotive Council.

The Aftermarket theatre, will have over 30 presentations, which will be focused on technology and the retail sector, business seminars for workshop staff plus staff skills and training.

The Technical theatre, will also feature a variety of subjects relevant to both the supply chain and aftermarket, ranging from high value manufacturing, lightweight technologies and composites plus the key area of low carbon and electrification to the MOT, the impact of regulations on the business and shaping the workshop of the future.

Highlight sessions include a discussion on the transformation of the MOT, the professional register for technicians and global ‘mega trends’ affecting mobility, the car of the future and the aftermarket.
