Comline Auto Parts (Comline) announced its membership of the International Filter Testing Services (IFTS), a filtration testing organisation.
The multi-award winning, British brand aims to utilise the resources and expertise of the non-profit to further strengthen its comprehensive filter offering.
Professing to be at ‘the crossroads between research and industry’ and acting as a ‘meeting place for equipment manufacturers and users’, the IFTS will partner with Comline to test and benchmark the quality of the distributor’s media to ensure Comline filters deliver consistent and reliable performance.
The depth and quality of analysis offered by the IFTS runs in strict accordance with ISO 17025, the testing and calibration standard to which laboratories must adhere in order to be recognised as ‘technically competent’ and to produce ‘precise and accurate test and/or calibration data’.
The results of IFTS assessment will enable Comline to operate tighter quality controls across all of its 1,800-plus filter references and work in conjunction with in-house testing conducted within Comline’s own quality lab.
“Badge of honour”
Comline Product general manager, Miten Parikh, commented: “Becoming an IFTS member will enable Comline to further raise its already impressive quality standards and sees us sit alongside the established elite of the automotive filtration industry.
“The past two years has been a hugely exciting period, during which Comline has scooped numerous awards and accolades.
“Being appointed an IFTS member is yet another badge of honour for Comline and further reflects our position as one of the fastest growing automotive brands in Europe.”
