Nick Good was victorious at Super Pro ET.

The Lucas Oil Shield is in distinguished company this week after drivers and teams sponsored by the lubricants manufacturer collected prestigious trophies at Santa Pod Raceway’s Main Event.

Stig Neergaard took the Top Fuel award, Micke Gullquist claimed the Pro Modified and Steve Ashdown brought home the bacon in the Fuel Funny Car.

Nick Good was victorious at Super Pro ET, Steve Venables beat the rest in Super Street Bike and Kaitlen Deevey had a great series of drives to win the ‘Junior Dragster’.

Lucas Oil drivers also collected awards for individual performances.

Steve Venables set a new European Record of 6.928 seconds, while Brad Jackson won the ‘Perfect Light’ award for the best reaction time.

The Main Event is Round 1 of the FIA/FIM European Championships.

As a motorsport event, the quality and quantity of the racing is unrivalled.

Top fuel dragsters accelerate from 0-100 mph in less than 1 second.
