High-quality 6,000K LEDs for a bright, intense light with maximum performance

New Philips professional LED workshop lamps now available
All three lamps produce a natural white light that is easy on the eye, improving visual comfort and reducing eye strain for fatigue-free working.

Lumileds has introduced the Philips pocket inspection lamp RCH5S, hand inspection lamp RCH25, and projector PJH10 all featuring a unique dimming function for enhanced comfort while working.

Lumileds’ UK business development manager, Richard Armstrong said: “The new Philips workshop lights provide mechanics with the brightness that best suits their needs, from brief inspection to maintenance and repair work.

“These three new Philips workshop lamps are our most advanced rechargeable professional LED work lights on the market.

“Not only do their high-quality LEDs provide bright natural light, they achieve the highest standards in durable construction, such as *IK09 and *IP68 scores.”

Lumileds is responsible for manufacturing and bringing to market Philips products for its automotive lighting and accessories product portfolio.

Flexibility

When ‘boost’ mode is too bright to see fine detail and ‘eco’ mode is too dark, mechanics require the flexibility of a dimming function: the tool’s adjustable brightness can meet a variety of illumination needs at the press of a button.

The memory function automatically stores the last setting when switching back on.

The Philips PJH10 provides up to 1000 lumen and can be dimmed gradually down to 100 lumen.

The Philips RCH5S and RCH25 also feature a powerful spot light to distribute the light exactly where it’s needed.

In addition, the Philips RCH5S and Philips RCH25 are compatible with the same docking station, included in the respective product packaging.

The docking station is compact, flexible, and provides seamless handling.

All three of the new workshop lamps are designed for the toughest environments, conforming to IK09, one of the highest international shock impact resistance standards.

The lamps are covered with rubber, providing further protection for an already robust housing.

During impact certification tests the devices were dropped on all six sides from a height of 1.5 meters.

Furthermore, these lamps conform to the second-highest international ingress protection standard, IP68.

Durable

Built using rigorous manufacturing and multiple sealing processes, the Philips workshop lamps are highly resistant to splashed water or even immersed in water for a long time, protected from dust and resistant to oil, grease and most chemicals as well as workshop solvents.

For hands-free work, mechanics can use the 360° adjustable and retractable hook to hang the lamps wherever they need in their workshop.

Alternatively, they can use the strong rear magnet to attach the lamps to any metal surface, such as the inside of a car hood.

While the Philips RCH5S and Philips RCH25 are rechargeable via a docking station, the Philips PJH10 has a micro USB cable for enhanced mobility.

With up to 12 hours’ battery life (Philips RCH5S and PJH10) in dimmed mode and fast charging – less than 2.5 hours for the Philips RCH5S – mechanics can use the new Philips professional workshop lamps all day.
