SMPE announces further new-to-range engine management parts

Standard Motor Products Europe (SMPE), one of the UK’s largest independently owned automotive parts manufacturers and suppliers, has extended its engine management portfolio across several of its house brands with the introduction of further new products.

45 new parts have been added, available to aftermarket customers now, across the company’s leading house brands including Intermotor, Kerr Nelson, Fuel Parts and Lemark, covering solenoids, coolers, switches, sensors and valves engineered by SMPE in the UK.

The Lucas range has also been extended for European customers where appropriate, under the company’s new Lucas licence agreement.

Latest additions

The additions include one brake pressure sensor, 25 VVT oil control solenoids, one EGR cooler, one EGR valve, three exhaust gas temperature sensors, one fuel pump, 12 wheel speed sensors and one fuel vapour valve, giving one of the largest engine management ranges from one supplier.

This covers a wide range of vehicle applications, featuring some of Europe’s top marques including Ford, Nissan, Fiat, Kia and Mercedes-Benz.

Richard Morley, SMPE commercial director, said: “This is part of our ongoing planned development for our leading aftermarket brands, to ensure we keep giving distributors a very competitive proposition that offers unrivalled quality and choice, backed by SMPE’s manufacturing expertise, to compete in a demanding market place.”

The newly extended range will be available in TecDoc with the next update.
