Event to discuss importance of workshop ADAS awareness with calibration demonstration

TEXA to hold free advanced driver assistance system presentation evening
Incorrect or faulty ADAS calibration can result in incorrect function or complete deactivation.

TEXA UK is to hold an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) presentation evening at its head office in Nelson, Lancashire on Wednesday 26 September, 2018.

ADAS systems are increasingly common on the latest generation of vehicles, designed to provide increased safety while driving.

Systems can include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane guidance and assistance and pedestrian and traffic sign recognition.

To aid workshops when repairing ADAS systems, TEXA has developed a complete, modular, multi-brand solution which is able to meet the diverse needs of automotive professionals.

The RCCS is modular since it is compatible with all TEXA calibration panels and gives the technician the option to choose only the required panels based on their workshop’s needs.

The RCCS can be combined with TEXA’s various ADAS solutions for the calibration of radars and rear cameras to operate on systems such as rear collision warning, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and park assist.

Attendees of the evening can expect an in-depth ADAS presentation and demonstration.

The evening will commence at 6.00pm, with catering provided and conclude at approx. 9.30pm.

This event is completely free to all attendees; however, places are limited on a first come, first serve basis.
