AA Garage Guide says that its recently launched tow-in network is the perfect companion for its expert patrols, helping them to ensure that customer vehicles are looked after by the best local garages.
Most of the Garage Guide’s 5,000-strong network is at the disposal of the AA’s Patrols through their hand held devices, allowing them to search the database of tow-in garages for the most suitable site.
Since the launch of the tow-in network, the number of vehicles delivered to AA Garage Guide garages through patrol engagement has tripled.
Many of the workshops within the tow-in network are also AA Certified Garages, meaning that they have passed an inspection carried out by the AA, examining the garages’ policies and practices to make sure that they meet with the high standards required.
Simon Trevana, owner of Ridge West Garage in East Sussex, said: “Being part of the tow-in network means we can attract new customers to our garage: if we do our job well it’s the perfect way of gaining potential long-term customers.
“The fact that we are a Certified garage means that the customer can be even more confident that we will do our utmost to ensure that their car will be looked after.”
Antoine Gatt, AA Patrol for Oxford and High Wycombe, added: “The Garage network is a great initiative which will ultimately improve customer confidence, this is a win-win situation for everybody involved.
“Because the garages are certified by the AA, both AA members and the Patrols alike will have the peace of mind that customer vehicles are in the best hands possible.”
AA Garage Guide’s marketing manager, Mima Rybanska, said: “Patrol tow-ins present garages with a unique opportunity to demonstrate their professionalism and reliability to a new audience.
“Our ‘Certified Garages’ initiative is the perfect partner for the tow-in network: even customers unfamiliar with the business will rest easy knowing that it is AA-Certified.”
