New motoring partnership bringing in business

A garage comparison site is gaining ground on the back of a prestigious partnership with top UK multimedia publishers Trinity Mirror.

Whocanfixmycar.com partnered with Trinity Mirror in August to deliver a platform for garages to find work online and for car owners to find the highest quality and best value mechanics to fix their cars. The launch phase has seen whocanfixmycar.com featured by Trinity Mirror across all of the publisher’s platforms.

Car owners who require repairs, servicing or an MOT simply post their jobs for free on whocanfixmycar.com. Garages who subscribe to the site then receive job alerts with the opportunity to provide a quote. Upon completion, motorists are encouraged to leave feedback for the garage to help build its online reputation.

The number of quotes is up by almost 90% in the first three months, as both job numbers and registered mechanics continue to rise. To date, more than 4,000 mechanics have subscribed to whocanfixmycar.com and in excess of 24,000 jobs have been posted by motorists.

Ian Griffiths, CEO of whocanfixmycar.com, said: “We hope to help more garages across the country to be part of the site to maximise the exposure, access and efficiency that we aim to provide.”

Matt Colebourne, director of New Businesses at Trinity Mirror said: “The first three months of the partnership have given us some very encouraging results. We have some exciting developments planned into the new year and beyond.”

Garages can quote on unlimited jobs once they are fully registered and only pay a commission to whocanfixmycar.com if they win the work. You can visit the site from the ‘More Details’ button below.
