MAM Software has announced that JNK Components Ltd., a commercial and agricultural motor factor based in Ireland, has chosen to reinstate MAM Autopart as its business management solution following a brief spell using an alternative system.
JNK, part of the FG7 aftermarket buying group, said that it missed Autopart’s “comprehensive functionality” and that the system is “better suited to cope with its high volumes of business traffic.”
The company also cited Autopart’s “versatility, its integrated ledger functionality and its ability to efficiently manage its large variety of products” as key reasons for returning.
JNK chose to implement Autopart Online, MAM’s cloud hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) version of the business management software.
The service covers the loading of software upgrades, patches and service packs, and removes the need for JNK to perform its own onsite backups.
The company will also be implementing Origin WebTrade, MAM’s B2B trade portal, to allow its customers to place orders online.
A welcome return
“We’re glad to be using Autopart again after a short break,” said JNK’s Kevin McNeill.
“Being a busy motor factor, we missed some of the integrated functionality that we had become accustomed to.
“Our staff are much happier now they’ve returned to the familiar features of Autopart.
“We’re also pleased to be using Autopart Online and gaining the security and simplicity the cloud offers.
“The WebTrade portal enables us to extend our services and allow our customers to access their account and place orders at their own convenience.”
Flexible approach
“We’re delighted that JNK Components has chosen to return to Autopart,” said Mark Kendall, national sales manager at MAM Software.
“Like many of our customers, JNK operates unique procedures which can only be handled by a flexible application such as Autopart.
“The result of over thirty years’ experience in the UK and Irish aftermarkets, Autopart contains an unrivalled array of features and options that can be configured to suit almost any requirement.”
