The latest version of MAM’s Autowork Online garage management system offers several enhancements designed to optimise workflow, increase efficiency, and improve customer service.
The MOT diary screen has been completely overhauled: The schedule grid now fills the full width of the screen for better visibility, MOT bookings are now linked to the relevant job card, and vehicles can be marked as ‘on site’.
MOT jobs can now have a status to be flagged as a ‘pass’ or ‘fail’, resulting in improved visibility, and allowing this information to be easily relayed to the customer.
New features enable users to simplify workflow by creating MOT bookings directly from the MOT diary screen and easily reschedule existing bookings within the diary.
A further enhancement automatically adds MOT due dates free of charge to any vehicle when available (if the vehicle is not already on file, a charge will be incurred for the VRM lookup.)
The data is retrieved from the DVLA’s database for improved data accuracy, allows MOTs to be upsold to customers who call in with other enquiries, and helps to ensure that vehicles are not being driven without a valid MOT.
Autowork Online v176 is now being rolled out to customers on a staggered basis. Users will automatically receive the update as soon as it becomes available for their system.
