With warranty coverage newly extended from three to five years, Monroe OESpectrum springs are engineered to help restore the “like-new” suspension performance preferred by many consumers.
Bruce Ronning, vice president and general manager, Europe aftermarket, said: “Coil springs play a vital role in helping workshops restore a vehicle’s OE-style ride and handling characteristics.
“However, some consumers are looking for a replacement solution that will offer good performance and reliability at a lower price point – particularly for an older or non-premium level vehicle.
“The Monroe range now addresses both opportunities while giving consumers the confidence that comes with a trusted brand.”
For OESpectrum springs, strength and performance are ensured through high-quality shot peening and phosphate corrosion protection.
For cars equipped with side-load compensation applications, to meet the ride and handling requirements of a growing number of late-model passenger vehicles, OESpectrum springs are manufactured with precise side-load measurement controls, to ensure friction reduction in the suspension.
Also now available are premium, left-hand wound springs engineered for the limited car applications where the OE springs are coiled in the opposite direction.
These parts include rear, non-tapered “SN” series springs as alternatives for OE mini-block springs, and front and rear “SE” series springs for popular vehicles dating back to the 2008 model year.
These aftermarket-specific springs are offered with a two-year warranty.
