WhoCanFixMyCar.com (WCFMC), which connects drivers with garages in their local area, has introduced new team member Jonas Vang Gregersen.

Gregersen has worked for some of the largest businesses in Europe, including Google.

“I worked as an eCommerce manager for a high end Nordic furniture company before moving to FONA, Denmark’s leading consumer electronics retailer at the time,” Gregersen said.

“I then moved into management consulting and worked with international shipping companies and financial institutions, advising on eCommerce and digitising work flows.”

Then came a call from the biggest tech company on the planet and the thirteen-stage interview process to join Google began.

“I was offered the job and got put in charge of Nordic operations, covering Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark as the business operations manager.”

Gregersen worked for Google for five and a half years before holding an evolving position at LateRooms.com, then moved to travel company, TUI Travel.

‘Approached by WCFMC’

“I hadn’t initially heard of the business but I was seriously impressed by the co-founders of WCFMC as they had managed to establish an entire marketplace within the UK automotive aftermarket industry.”

The Dane shares the vision held by co-founders, Al Preston and Ian Griffiths, who aim to disrupt the £11.2 billion automotive aftermarket industry.

“Ian and Al have already proven the sustainability of the core model and demonstrated their ability to launch new product lines and establish key partnerships, but there is still so much potential to grow,” Gregersen continued.

“Our role is to drive competitive pricing for the consumer while awarding and promoting the high quality work delivered by the garages.

“The prospect of instigating the change of an entire industry, for the benefit of consumers and service providers is exhilarating.”
