The car was left two miles from the airport in the village of Lulsgate, North Somerset.

Village residents have wrapped a car in clingfilm and egged it after claiming it was parked near Bristol Airport.

One of the tyres on the Peugeot 108 were also deflated and a note was left reading: “If you can afford a holiday you can afford parking.”

Sam Lakner, who spotted the vandalised car, said: “I just can’t believe that people park like that.

“I think the residents have had enough of people doing it now.

“You get it a lot where I live.

“People just abandon their cars down side lanes and people go out and do it.

“I once saw three just abandoned not even parked on the verge so we had a whole lane blocked.”
