In the loop: Sykes-Pickavant have updated their print to help customers visualise any updates.

Sykes-Pickavant are excited to launch a revised puller, separator and torque catalogue full to the brim with new additions and updates.

The catalogue contains products from the 1400 series as well as mechanical and hydraulic pullers, thin jaw, loadstar and torque.

The 1400 Series is a recent addition to their puller range which consists of an assortment of twin/triple leg pullers and combination kits.

These pullers can provide up to six tonnes of force without a hydraulic ram but can be upgraded at a later date if required.

The 1500 hydraulic ram has been improved and now features a ‘hex-head’ which allows users to pre-load up to four tonnes of force prior to application, giving more stroke and power when hydraulic force is used.

A new concept of leg extensions has been designed for the thin jaw range to increase the puller’s reach without the need for extra legs.

These extension pieces have been included in a wide range of thin-jaw kits and can be purchased individually to provide compatible pullers with almost infinite extending capabilities.

Their well-established separator design has long featured off-centre pulling rod connecting holes to reduce the amount of flex in the assembly when under load.

This has been reviewed and a three-hole position design introduced to provide the user with more solutions to locate the separator in difficult access situations, whilst keeping the benefits of the off-centre hole model.

The updated Torque section includes the new ‘motorq professional’ range of torque wrenches which features a professional scale, ‘push-thru’ head and exciting new timestrip® component.

The innovative timestrip® provides a visual indication of when the wrench is due for re-calibration in three, six, nine and 12 month graduations.
