With the 2017 show set to be 70 per cent bigger than in 2016, organisers have introduced dedicated zones for the aftermarket and supply chain, helping visitors to locate the most relevant exhibitors.

The organisers of Automechanika Birmingham have released a promotional video, highlighting visitor feedback from last year’s inaugural event.

The industry event, which is set to take place at the NEC from June 6-8 2017, unites the very best of the UK aftermarket and supply chain and provides a one stop shop for discovering product launches, the latest technologies and practical solutions, with 70 per cent of the exhibitors from the UK.

A comprehensive programme of over 60 seminar sessions, technical talks and live demonstrations from industry experts adds to the offering for visitors from the aftermarket and supply chain.

Three seminar theatres provide topical conversation on current industry issues and discussions about inspiring new technology.

New for 2017, a ‘workshop training zone’ will host technical talks and ‘ask the expert’ sessions, presenting the latest in diagnostics and connectivity, battery technology, diesel engines, ADAS, tyres, and hybrid and electric vehicles.

2017 visitors can benefit from 25 per cent off train prices when booking travel in advance to the NEC with the Virgin Trains special offer.

Automechanika Birmingham urges visitors to benefit from cheaper fares by booking early and planning ahead.
