Technician, Raye Watts replaced the battery on an old charity shop mobility scooter with a motorbike engine.
A passing motorist captured Raye’s test drive on camera and recorded speeds of up to 60mph.
Raye said: “I like building things and I’ve always wanted to do this.
“I was donated the mobility scooter by a charity shop and put an off-road motorcycle engine in it that was sitting in my shed.
“I expected 35-40 mph and was very surprised when it reached 60.”
