Workshops urged to enter Garage of the Year comp before deadline
Place your entry before April 28, 2017 to be in with a chance of winning.

Entries for Garage of the Year, launched by Automechanika Birmingham in partnership with GW, show an impressive level of skill and professionalism among independent garages in the UK.

With the deadline for entries fast approaching, garages that have not yet entered are being encouraged to do so by Friday 28 April.

The winner will receive a £1,000 cash prize plus a free 12-month platinum membership on WhoCanFixMyCar.com, worth £329.99 + VAT.

Workshops can either submit 150 words or send a one minute video clip explaining why they should be Garage of the Year.

Phillip Warren of Oaks Vehicle Service Centre in Kent recently submitted his entry after a substantial investment into a new website that allows his customers to book MOTs and services online.

He said: “They can also login to their own section of the website, which gives them the ability to view their invoice and any video’s/pictures we upload of defective parts.”

Paul Rapley of MECA Car Services, entered with details on his workshop’s latest radio advertising efforts which mimic renowned national TV adverts such as the Marks & Spencer ‘this is not just any’ marketing campaign and has resulted in a 25 per cent growth in new customers.

All entries must be received by 28th April, 2017 and completed entry forms should be sent to [email protected].
