Yuasa revved up for another momentous motorsport season as the new-look Halfords Yuasa Racing 2017 Honda Civic Type R racing car took to the track at the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Media Day.

Powered by Yuasa, team mates Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal took to the legendary Donington Park circuit for a variety of BTCC Media Day photo opportunities and a pre-season test session alongside their 2017 BTCC rivals.

“With aggressive styling and a striking new black and orange livery, the Halfords Yuasa Racing Civic Type R’s certainly looked lightning fast out on track,” Yuasa said in a press release.

And if their success over previous years is anything to go by, Shedden and Neal will once again be the team to beat in 2017.

Hot off the back of his third, and second successive, BTCC driver’s championship title in 2016, Gordon ‘Flash’ Shedden looks unstoppable, and will be gunning to add a fourth title to his trophy cabinet this year.

Meanwhile, long-term team mate Matt Neal has other ideas as he hunts for his fourth BTCC title having last held the crown six years ago.
