Thames Valley Police (TVP) pulled over a motortist in Milton Keynes who proceeded to present a fake driver licence depicting the cartoon character Homer Simpson.
The vehicle in question has been seized after it was found that it did not have insurance.
In response to the tweet by TVP, a Twitter user remarked: “Looks legit.
“Is it the signature you’re suspecting?”
While another was quick to chip in: “Now, the question is, did you ask for a valid driving licence, or just a driving licence, because to be fair, that is a driving licence.”
This was presented as a driving licence to us last night in @tvp_mk. Also had no insurance and therefore car seized and reported for both offences. #P6432 pic.twitter.com/JEZq0Fu4y6
