Police stop car with bald tyres and child not wearing seatbelt
Officers discovered two severely defective tyres on the Zafira.

The driver of a Vauxhall Zafira pulled over by the Roads Policing Team in Salisbury yesterday (Monday January 7th) has been shamed for his driving offences.

PC Will Ayres found a three-year-old child without a seatbelt, or a suitable car seat, inside the vehicle.

He also discovered the car had two defective tyres that were so worn that the cords within them were exposed.

The driver was also found to have had no insurance for the vehicle.

The car has been seized by police.

The 20-year-old driver has been reported and will be summoned to court.
