Car leasing giant LeaseCar.uk compiled a list of 10 of the most scenic routes across the UK in encourage motorists to explore new spaces throughout 2018, reports the Express.

Humber Bridge

First opened in 1981, the Humber Bridge reaches over the estuary formed by rivers Trent and Ouse connecting East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Abergavenny to Penderyn

Drive along the south edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and admire the views of Pen Y Fan on this picturesque drive.

Hutton-le-Hole

Enjoy these popular scenic village views, situated north-west of Pickering in the North York Moors National Park.

Abergwesyn Pass

Nicknamed “Devil’s Staircase”, expect breath-taking visuals combined with hairpin turns, bridges and crests as you travel this Welsh route.

Hardknott Pass

Famously challenging, this Lake Disctrict road is perfect for thrill seekers and daredevils.

Buttertubs Pass

Experience The Yorkshire Dales as you’ve never experienced them on this 5.5-mile route which is fully enclosed by scenic views.

Causeway Coastal Road

From Londonderry to Belfast, one of the most famous routes in Northern Ireland features 130 miles of idyllic coastal scenery.

Bealach na Bà

Or “Pass of the Cattle” in Ross and Cromarty, Scotland provides narrow single-track sections and fist clengchingly tight hairpins before opening out to the beautiful Applecross Peninsula at the end.

Cat and Fiddle Route

Named after the now closed “Cat and Fiddle Inn”, this 12-mile route takes you from Buxton to Macclesfield and is one of the most famous drives in The Peak District.

Cheddar Gorge

Starting in Cheddar and ends in Somerset, this route takes you through the UK’s deepest gorge in the UK.
