Snap-on launches TRITON diagnostic platform to streamline workshop repairs

Snap-on® has introduced TRITON™, its newest diagnostic platform engineered to streamline workflow, enhance efficiency, and increase productivity on every repair. The system is designed to take technicians “from start to fixed” by offering a fast, reliable wireless connection and an automated workflow.

Helen Cox, marketing and client services director, Snap-on Diagnostics, said: “The continuously evolving automotive world has created what is now the most challenging environment that diagnostic professionals have ever seen. The new TRITON scan tool is at the technician’s side for every vehicle that they see in the bay and takes the lead on every repair, so there is no more wondering where to start.”

TRITON features Snap-on’s patented exclusive Fast-Track® troubleshooting functionality, which filters out complexity by presenting one focused workflow. Key features include:

  • Verified Real Fixes: Solutions harvested from billions of successful repair records.
  • Smart Data: Automatically selects only the PIDs (Parameter IDs) related to the code being worked on, flagging those out of range at idle to show only the readings that matter.
  • Fast-Track Guided Component Tests: The integrated two-channel scope provides step-by-step instructions, hook-up details, and known good waveforms to eliminate guesswork and confirm the repair.

The device boasts a rugged design for shop environments and a 10″ capacitive colour touchscreen display for visibility indoors and out. TRITON includes comprehensive coverage with manufacturer-level capabilities and a complete vehicle scan function.
