On the contrary, new car sales will go up as cars are now becoming throw away items. They are far too complicated and therefore time consuming to repair. This translates into hefty labour charges. Cars will simply be scrapped unnecessarily. I’m hanging on to my old car which doesn’t have EGR valves, variable valve timing, inlet manifold flaps, DPF filter or any of that other nonsense that new Carson now have.
