I own and run a large mot and repair centre in Essex . We have been open for 10 years now . It seems like every year there is a new way of doing things which generally means more cost bigger overheads to us .
I agree there should be some sort of licensing in place . But I fear the cost will come back down to us . I also feel there should be more stringent checks on the bigger corporations in our field . I do think a lot of the scare mongering comes from higher up . From say exhaust and tyre places and us smaller concerns are left to calm and reassure the public we are not all out to rip them off .
