This is just another step towards forcing the small independents out of the game and leaving it all for the large chains who just use the mot system as a loss leader to pull customers into their grip. I love new tech my own equipment is less than five years old and very well maintained but the extra costs being passed on to the garages will soon overtake the £54.85 maximum, many of my customers ask why the price keeps going up. I am not against the change just the implementation
