Having a garage in a poor area, we know that customers usually have only the items of work required to pass the MOT test. Even though there may be a list of advisories, they will not be looked at until the next MOT test. To leave it for 2 years, would be dangerous to all road users. Most people do not check there tyres regularly and rely on the MOT test to say if their car is roadworthy. Biennial MOT testing is a very bad idea for safety and will also severely affect the motor trade, which is already struggling and with electric cars coming in, will have dire consequences.
