Why is the inquest adjourned for so long? Everyone will want to know why this happened. Was the lift faulty, if so make model and exact nature of failure?
The guy must have been experienced, was an unusual situation the cause.
This information could be important to others.
R.I.P fellow mechanic. I’ve seen the leg of a four poster collapse during an m.o.t test. Fortunately, the tester was able to run the other way as the car fell off. I hope the results of the inquiry are reported on here in case we need to learn any lessons.
Have to say, my MOT ramp with shaker plates has to be checked on a regular basis, as the post bolts have a tendency to work loose if i’ve been doing alot of Class 7 or large motorhomes, Please keep an eye on them and stay safe !!.
