Disagree out of 10 cars in for “warning light on”

7 will be “been on for months, failed mot”

1 will be “just brought it yesterday/last week”

1 will be “sold it, going this afternoon”

These above wil >>ALL<< can you just clear the light

1 will be “light come on earlier today/yesterday afternoon, can you fix it”

The public should be getting encouraged to make a call as soon as the light appears, load of garages offer free advice, early diagnostic can save £’ss.
In addition most people do not know what each warning light mean, a lack of knowledge causes fear over costs etc. My advice, just ask, it’s better to have all the information than to stick your head in the sand hoping it will go away.
