Coming, as it does, hot on the heels of the new requirements for connected test equipment (which I know will only apply to new kit “as yet” according to the DVSA blog) does anyone else see this advice on how to close down as meaning anything for the future?
Personally I can see it leading to handing over all testing to the large chains and the end of local test stations. Now given the large chains reputation that could get very interesting very quickly!

I closed my mot station in April 2018 and received an email from dvsa and have heard nothing since.
It’s only mot testers who have to do their job right it seems.

In view of the leniency of recent judgements against bent testers this document should start as follows.

1/ Go down the pub and sell as many bent M.O.Ts as possible @ £100 a pop (you know it makes sense)

    2/ email the DVLA.
