Just had our MOT inspection which included a thorough check on all Covid related. Hopefully the information collated on our site and all other testing stations looked at will show Government transport chiefs what measures centres are taking to minimise risk and to follow guidelines. This is data that needs to go forward. Government transport heads maintained they could not change the extension date until they were sure it was safe for both the customer and MOT centre staff for testing to take place. Centres need to show inspectors they are.

It’s official – extensions to end on 1st August. There will be no further exemptions from 01st August 2020 – so from Thursday 02nd July customers can start booking in any test that expires on 01st August and have the date preserved.

Please let customers know – DVSA will be encouraging customers to get vehicles tested even if they have had an extension added.
