SteveGuestNot much left out of the fee nowadays with all the extras but we have always offered this to the older customers and any that are ill but I collect one a day before work and drop back on my way home as we cant afford to employ another member of staff to do this they would of course have to be insured as well
Joy MattockGuestSo let’s get this right. 88% of garages are asking their staff to collect vehicles from self-isolating customers. They are self-isolating either because they are CEV, have come into contact with a COVID 19 case or are themselves COVID positive. Just think about that. You’re happy to ask your staff to get in that car where more than likely that COVID customer has been ?? Are you sanitising the vehicle with an approved spray ?
Joy MattockGuestSo let’s get this right. 88% of garages are happy to ask their staff to collect vehicles from customers who are either CEV, or self isolating. If they are self isolating it will be because they have come into contact with a COVID positive person, or have COVID themselves. Think about that – you want your staff to get in the same vehicles as the possibly COVID positive customer has recently been in. I assume you are sending with your staff all the PPE for this and sanitise the vehicle thoroughly before they get in it? We are being told only to make essential journeys. It obviously wasn’t safe ( according to the Dft ) in Lockdown 1 to travel to have this done as they granted an extension. Now this virus is more transmissible, it’s apparently ok.
Meat-HeadBlockedWhy do that, wasted some time that will
