😮 thats a lot of wonga, so how much does the government make
Off the rest of the cars on the road.

Pleased to hear it, as in 5 years time one of my cars will be a classic
Exempt from mot/tax which is good, as its rotten.

Got my mate to collect a few ‘damage’ roadsigns get them in the floor

Not really mate. Your vehicle may be tax and m.o.t exempt but it still has to be roadworthy. That is, capable of passing an m.o.t. I own two exempt vehicles and I would have no hesitation in putting them in for m.o.t tomorrow if I had to. It’s all about your safety one the road and those around you. I wouldn’t like you behind me in your shed.

As the new car becomes more expensive and hard to fix I am finding classic cars much more enjoyable to work on . Yes I do have have about nine vehicles over 50 years old .My MGB was badly rotten and now after a lot of welding is looking good again .About 25% of my work is on classic cars also a number of cars over 20 years old . I am paid the same to fix old cars as newer ones and yes some are “worth” over £100,000 down to not a lot !I see the “old” car as a good thing for the repair trade with or without mot cars must be road legal if used on the road .
