    Sale of part worn tyres should be made illegal. We won’t fit them and, from what I understand, many other garages in our area won’t either, BUT, there is always an unscrupulous garage that will which is why we feel that if they were made illegal then that should be the end of it.

    I had fitted a part worn continental tyre (with 6.5mm thread left on it I bought from ebay for 30# cost) on my Audi car previously. The tyre lasted for more than two years and did over 10,000 miles on the road until I replaced again by another part worn tyre.
