ALLDATA Europe bolsters team for UK and Ireland

To reinforce ALLDATA Europe’s commitment to garages and bodyshops in the UK and Ireland, the OEM repair data provider has bolstered its team.

The planned growth is part of ALLDATA’s overall strategy to bring OEM technical data from 29 vehicle manufacturers to garage and bodyshop professionals who need original and unabridged repair and maintenance information.

As technology used in modern vehicles becomes more sophisticated, the difficulty of diagnosis and repair increases. ALLDATA Europe is in a unique position to offer a comprehensive set of technical data created for each vehicle model from any of the OEMs it has the licence to re-publish.

With access to ALLDATA Repair, garages and bodyshops can confidently accept more challenging work that they previously may have turned away because they lacked the repair methods, necessary information and confidence to complete the job.

An annual subscription gives instant access to relevant repair data and methods. Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs), diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and electrical systems/wiring diagrams are also included. Data is supplied with an intelligent search engine function to enable technicians to find the required information in seconds.

The frequently updated database offers 91,950 year, make model and engine (YMME) vehicle combinations, which equates to more than 95 percent of vehicles on the road today. ALLDATA Repair possesses a library of six million technical drawings and wiring diagrams, including electrical connector views, which are available in five languages.

What’s more, to demonstrate the all-compassing ability of ALLDATA Repair, ALLDATA Labour Times was recently launched. With just one click, professionals can now see accurate OEM labour times that correspond with repair information – both mechanical and body – as well as maintenance procedures for a specific vehicle in ALLDATA Repair.

Meet the team

ALLDATA is trusted by over 400,000 users worldwide – and momentum is growing domestically as the new team increase the awareness of ALLDATA Repair with each new customer they encounter.

Sales director, Simon Frost, leads the team with many years’ experience of selling technical data licences to garages in the UK and further afield in Europe.

He said: “There’s a great buzz in the team, which boasts seasoned industry professionals, with a united enthusiasm to go forward and communicate the unique benefits that ALLDATA Repair possesses. We’re bringing the word to garages and bodyshops. So far, the reception has been overwhelmingly positive; there is a desire to access the data that franchised dealers have. It’s an unrivalled offer in the market.”

Simon is supported by Steve Robson, who already has six-and-a-half years’ experience with ALLDATA on his CV. New recruits, Aydin Ozmen, Eric Ware, Gerry Clancy and Marta Perlinska, all join with strong automotive backgrounds.

Matthew Wright has accomplished plenty during his four-year spell as director, information insights and OEM relations. He is responsible for negotiating and overseeing OEM licence partnerships. He also oversees product development and regulatory compliance.

Technical support specialists, Steve Derham and Dirk Vennemann, bring more than 40 years’ experience in the workshop and customer support arena. They offer swift, accurate and timely assistance to the ALLDATA customer network via the ‘Info Centre’ support hub. Having a ‘live’ help service is highly valued by ALLDATA customers.

Meanwhile, Kim Brown, one of the longest-serving members of the team, is invaluable in her account management position. She is instrumental in offering after-sales support and in sales order processing. Kim is the conduit between the customer and the sales team.
