Virtual event to address biggest challenges and opportunities to face sector over coming years

IAAF confirms details of its 2021 conference

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has confirmed that its 2021 virtual conference will be titled ‘Aftermarket for the Future’.

Taking place on Thursday 2nd December, the event attracted more than 300 industry personnel at its virtual showing in 2020.

The IAAF will once again welcome a top list of industry speakers to its annual conference this year and attendance at the event will be charged at £49 + VAT per company, with £5 of the fee going towards funding of UK AFCAR, a coalition set-up to lobby UK government in a post-Brexit era.

With a number of new and exciting sponsorship packages available to members, including the launch of a new e-programme, the event will also feature the ‘Pride of the Aftermarket’ awards, which will honour exceptional performances of companies and individuals throughout the past year.

Mark Field, IAAF chief executive, said: “The IAAF Virtual Conference 2021 will reflect the fact that wherever we look, we are counting down towards something very big affecting our sector, whether that be the 2023 Block Exemption Regulation expiry or the 2030 ban on new petrol and diesel vehicles.

“The conference will examine what our industry might look like on the run-up to such milestones and also what the future will be for the thousands of businesses and employees within our sector.”
