The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) hosted its annual Pride of the Aftermarket Awards on 5 December, 2024.
The event, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milton Keynes, celebrated the outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses within the automotive aftermarket sector.
The evening was filled with excitement, entertainment, and networking opportunities. Attendees were treated to a memorable performance by a Freddy Mercury tribute act and a stand-up comedy routine from Dara Ó Briain.
A special tribute was paid to the late Claire Lomas, a former keynote speaker at the IAAF conference, who sadly passed away earlier in the year. The industry came together to make generous donations in her memory, honoring her legacy of resilience and passion.
The awards ceremony recognised the following winners and highly commended businesses:

- Product of the Year: SMP Europe
- Outstanding Garage Contribution: Oldfields Garage
- Car Supplier of the Year (Innovation): Ring & OSRAM
- Car Supplier of the Year (Service): Juratek
- Car Distributor of the Year (up to 10 branches): Melksham Motor Spares
- Car Distributor of the Year (10+ branches): Motor Parts Direct
- Outstanding Achievement of the Year: Bob Ackroyd and Nigel Morgan
Mark Field, IAAF Chief Executive, expressed his pride in the industry and its commitment to excellence. He spoke of the importance of collaboration, innovation, and supporting the next generation of industry professionals.
