The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has launched a series of “Enrichment Days” to introduce students to the diverse career paths available within the automotive aftermarket sector.
These initiatives involve students from schools and colleges visiting IAAF member businesses to gain firsthand experience of the industry. The aim is to showcase the range of roles and career opportunities available, from technical positions to management and business development.
The Enrichment Days complement the IAAF Training Academy, which focuses on professional development within the aftermarket.
Mark Field, IAAF Chief Executive, emphasised the importance of highlighting the diverse career paths available within the sector. He stated that these initiatives aim to bridge the gap between education and employment, while also raising awareness of the aftermarket’s significant contribution to the UK economy.
The first Enrichment Day was held at the Delphi Training Academy Warwick, with students from the Heart of Worcestershire College in attendance.
The IAAF encourages all member businesses to participate in these Enrichment Days to showcase the industry’s dynamic and rewarding career opportunities to the next generation.
