IAAF Wins Industry Partner of the Year at CAT Awards

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has been awarded ‘Industry Partner of the Year’ at the CAT Awards 2025, winning the accolade for the second consecutive year.

The award, determined by a public vote, acknowledges the IAAF’s commitment to supporting the independent automotive aftermarket.

Over the past year, the IAAF has focused on industry advocacy, leading campaigns on Block Exemption Regulations (BER) and Type Approval legislation to ensure independent garages have access to vehicle data. The federation has also defended the annual MOT test.

The IAAF has expanded its support with initiatives such as the IAAF Training Academy and IAAF Enrichment Days, which aim to raise industry standards and introduce students to automotive aftermarket careers.

The federation has also organised industry events, including its summer conference, Annual Conference and Awards ceremony, Automechanika Birmingham Garage Awards, and an upcoming Five-a-Side Tournament.

Mark Field, IAAF Chief Executive, thanked the team and members for their support and acknowledged the industry’s recognition.
