The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) has announced that members of United Aftermarket Network’s (UAN) workshop support programme will be able to redeem their annual training allowance to purchase tickets for Autoinform Live.
United Garage Services’ 135 workshops receive an allowance of six training days as part of their annual subscription, and UAN is encouraging owners and technicians to take advantage of the training and business seminars on-offer at the GTG Training Academy between the 6th and 7th November.
Experts from original equipment manufacturers, from braking and filtration to hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as guest speakers from various specialisms in the automotive aftermarket, are ready and eager to welcome visitors after a two-year hiatus.
The main goal of Autoinform Live is to ensure those that attend leave the event with a greater understanding of the vehicles that they’re servicing, diagnosing or repairing on a day-to-day basis.
It’s also important they’re in a position to future-proof their workshop, whether that be savvy business knowledge or awareness of the latest technologies and trends – and UAN is thrilled to be supporting those messages.
United Garage Services network manager, Phil Weller, said: “United Garage Services is dedicated in offering network members access to the latest technical training available, in order to help keep them up-to-date with the latest technology.
“Autoinform Live is an ideal platform for independent workshops to get a taste of the very latest technology, techniques and training that will be required to tackle it – that is why United Garage Services will be allowing network members to use their annual training allowance to attend the event.
“We are pleased to support such a great event and hope many of our network members take up this fantastic opportunity.”
OESAA chairman, Nigel Morgan, said: “The support for Autoinform Live and appetite to feed technicians with training continues to grow, and United Garage Services’ commitment to the cause is testament to its determination in ensuring its members are well-prepared in receiving whatever vehicle enters the workshop.”
