Held at The Crystal, London Docklands, the honour was awarded thanks to the environmental success of the company’s Remanufacture of Automotive Products project.
This success, combined with Autoelectro’s impressive Green Apple Environment award, has seen the company gain entry into The Green World Awards to find the ‘greenest’ organisation in the world.
The final presentation will take place in Seoul, South Korea, in October.
Green enterprise
The award judges paid tribute to Autoelectro, praising its hard work in ensuring the remanufacturer runs a ‘green’ enterprise.
Managing director, Tony Bhogal, said: “We are very proud to be named as an International Green World Ambassador.
“We greatly appreciate the recognition, but, most importantly, we must continue our hard work and continue to ensure every aspect of our business says ‘green’.
