Katie Price has removed her Suzuki Vitara from Ebay because the car dealer she was selling the car through was overwhelmed with abusive messages from online trolls.
Bid for the car reached more than £66,000 but a source close to Katie said “we had to remove it because of all the calls and messages we had been getting,” it’s been reported.
Speaking to The Mirror, the source added that the car had still not sold.
The car was put up for auction after Katie received a three-month driving ban following her arrest in September on suspicion of drink driving.
“Extensive exterior re-wrap”
The Vitara car has undergone “extensive exterior re-wrap inc lowered suspension wheel arch kit and wide wheels and tyres”.
The listing admitted that “the soft top requires replacement and the MOT has expired”.
Complete with the Barbie logo and love hearts, it was initially listed on the site with a price of £500 but bids had shot up to £8,500 by midday.
The auction soon rocketed to £66,200 after over 200 bids were placed with eight days remaining on the auction.
Katie is reported to be in the process of getting her finances back on track after narrowly avoiding bankruptcy.
