Comline gets MAM Autocat v8 status
• Comline is a fast-growing and proud British distributor of own brand replacement parts for European, Japanese and Korean vehicles.

Comline Auto Parts has been granted MAM Autocat v8 status, after impressing the data software provider with the breadth quality and accuracy of its data porfolio.

Comline has long been a certified data provider to MAM and, following extensive work by the brand’s product development team, the brand is now compliant with MAM’s latest Autocat v8 derivative.

Autocat v8 is a comprehensive electronic parts catalogue that enables motor factor and retail customers to quickly identify and locate components.

Automatically updated and web-driven, the platform gathers component data from multiple suppliers, including Comline.

Greater accuracy

This latest version of Autocat means Comline’s data will be cleaner, more detailed and more accurate, meaning a more user-friendly and simple experience for Comline customers.

In meeting the KPIs and standards required for v8 approval, Comline has ensured its customers will benefit from the advantages of this platform, most notably more first-time VRM matches, fewer duplications, improved described criteria and enhanced notes.

Comline product general manager, Miten Parikh said: “We take great pride in the standard and the continuous improvement of our catalogue data. Autocat v8 has given us the platform to take another significant step forward in this area.

“The enhancements to MAM’s new platform are clear to see, and we are in no doubt that v8 will greatly benefit our customers. With this in mind, we have worked quickly for v8 compliance and I am thrilled to have achieved this so quickly.

“Motor factors across the country will have improved access to our constantly-evolving product range making it easier to order Comline than ever before.”
