UniClutch is receiving positive feedback from technicians for its ease of installation and performance. This is based on a recent test conducted by Nigel Clement, a technician with Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) TechMate, who installed UniClutch in a NAPA-branded Ford Focus ST race car.
Clement commented on the well-organised packaging and the unique QR code system providing detailed fitting instructions. He found the instructions clear and straightforward, allowing him to quickly identify the correct parts and set up the clutch.
“My first impression of the UniClutch was the precise and detailed way it is boxed and presented,” says Clement. “On further inspection, I found the QR code system to be really unique as it shows the process and details of the clutch and fitting kit that is required to fit the product to the vehicle.”
UniClutch’s Flex Fit system impressed Clement with its adaptability. This modular design allows the clutch to fit most vehicles, including those with non-standard engines or transmissions. The comprehensive installation guide went beyond basic instructions, offering specific advice on tightening torques and using lock tight.
Following installation, Clement test-drove the vehicle and found the UniClutch to perform exceptionally. He noted a smoother pedal feel than the original equipment (OE) clutch and improved power delivery thanks to the twin-plate design.
