UniClutch has successfully installed its product in the legendary “Eleanor” Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 from the film “Gone in 60 Seconds.”
The “unicorn” Mustang, a 1967 model piloted by Nicolas Cage’s character in the movie, was known for its powerful engine but also its heavy clutch. UniClutch’s modular design and user-friendly operation addressed these issues.
“The original clutch was difficult to drive,” explains Mario from Highway 31 Rodders Car Club in Australia, who oversaw the installation. “UniClutch makes the car more enjoyable and relaxing to drive.”
UniClutch offers several advantages:
- Adapts to various flywheels: This makes it suitable for a wide range of vehicles, new and old.
- Reduced installation time: The modular design simplifies the process.
- High torque capacity: It can handle powerful engines without a heavy pedal feel.
“UniClutch is a great example of how our technology can benefit both classic and modern vehicles,” says Justin Batten of UniClutch.
The “Eleanor” Mustang’s upgraded clutch allows for a smoother and more enjoyable driving experience, preserving the iconic car’s legacy while incorporating modern advancements.
