Autoelectro confirms latest start motor and alternator additions

Remanufacturer and supplier of starter motors and alternators, Autoelectro has released details of its latest range additions.

New alternator additions include units for Audi Q7 3.0 Diesel 15>, Audi A6/A7 3.0 Diesel 14>, Alfa Giulia/Stelvio 2.2 Diesel 17>, BMW 5/7 Series 4.4 Petrol 17> and a liquid-cooled alternator for Porsche Cayenne 4.2 Diesel 12>. .

New-to-range starter motors include Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 Petrol 17>, Ssangyong Tivoli 1.6 Petrol 15>, Kia Stonic 1.4 Petrol 17>, Volvo V40 1.6 Diesel 12> and Mercedes E-Class 3.0 Petrol 17>.

    Once upon a time you could mix and match, t’ same dynamo and control
    Box, yer could, swap from one make/model t’ another.

    Nowadays you got t’ use t’ computer t’ tell compu’er it has one of them new fangled alternator things.

    Some cars you have t’ tell t’ computer it got a new belt 😮
    On them ones with the ‘Dyna-Starter’

    Then the extra weight and cost of these ‘stop-start’ batteries.

    Your stop-start special self starter solenoid to save 0.5 seconds on restart.

    Dont think the 1985 Volkswagen Polo C Formula E had the extra solenoid!
