Autologic to deliver regional training courses

Master technicians to share knowledge and expertise at venues across the country

Autologic to deliver regional training courses

Autologic has released further details about its regional training programme after it was reintroduced earlier this year.

The aftermarket diagnostic specialist has partnered with the RMI Academy of Automotive Skills and a number of other training providers to deliver regional training courses around the country.

A facility in the North East is still being searched for.

The courses, which are delivered by a group of brand specialist master technicians, contain a mix of diagnostic skills and brand specific content, with the aim to not only increase the delegates knowledge but give them an insight into the Master Technician’s experience.

An Autologic spokesperson said: “People can attain the knowledge required to carry out a wiring check and read a wiring diagram, but if the wire is broken then it is the experience that will help you in knowing where to look for the break.

“Autologic’s master technicians have many years of brand experience before joining the company, with the added benefit of being able to pull on the experience they have of dealing with over 500 support cases a day in the UK support centre.”

The latest course to be added to the programme is IMI level two training covering electric/hybrid vehicle repair and maintenance.

This course is being delivered in collaboration with the RMI and is a good entry point for technicians who may be maintaining these vehicles but are not seeing a requirement to diagnose and repair the high voltage system.

Autologic is currently developing a level three course for technicians who have a requirement to work on the high voltage system.

Utilising a number of venues, including James Dillion’s Technical Topics, Autologic are aiming to deliver at least two courses a month for the remainder of the year.

Further new courses are expected to be added to the training programme.
